Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology

Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology (Bengali: অতীশ দীপঙ্কর বিজ্ঞাণ ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) or ADUST is a private university in Gulshan, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The university was named after Atish Dipankara Srijnana, the ancient Buddhist scholar.[citation needed]

It was established by the Private University Act 1992.The University has been established in The year 2004 after getting approval from the University Grants Commission Bangladesh . It is the only Private which has not only recognized the services of a great son of this soil,Atish Dipankara Srijnana, but also has taken the responsibility of spreading has ideals through imparting education ADUST provide quality education in the following fields of study:

1.Agriculture, Biological Science & Biotechnology
2.Arts and Social Science
3.Computer Science & Technology
4.Business and Economics

ADUST seeks to enhance the quality of education through a multi-disciplinary curriculum in all branches of knowledge as imparted by a group of devoted academicians from home and abroad. ADUST also provides an excellent environment for the students to promote knowledge and explore newer domains through research. The University has at present a significant enrolment of student. Its full-time teachers are well qualified while it has host of reputed academicians and professionals. [1]
